• KS2 Choir Cancellation
  Due to the school discos on Thursday 26th May, the after school choir practice is cancelled this week.
• Christian Aid Worm Day
  We would like to raise money to buy wormery packs for Bangladesh; we are asking children to bring a coin to school on Friday 20th May. The children will use their coin to make a Mereside worm, they will draw round them & measure our worm!
• Key Stage 2 Ice Cream Sale
  On Friday 20th May, Ice creams will also be sold on the KS2 playground at the end of the day.This is a trial & if successful the PTA will sell them every Friday on the KS2 playground. All money raised from donations will go to PTA funds.
• Photograph Orders
  Please can all class/team photograph orders be handed in to the school office by the end of the day on Friday 20th May. Unfortunately we are unable to accept any late orders; these must be sent direct to Tempest Photography & will incur a late charge.
• Kerrison Jones Cup Football Champions!
  On 6th May, 2016 our U11 boys team played in the cup final against Harlescott. The match ended with a 1-1 draw, goal by Matty Hutchinson. Penalties were taken to decide the winner, we won 2-1 with goals by Jacob Sambrook & Tyler Baker-Trow.

• Ice Cream Sale
  Due to our U11 boys football team playing in a cup final at 3.00pm on Friday 6th May, the ice cream sale will now take place on Thursday 5th May.
• 'Bag 2 School'
  The 'Bag 2 School' bags will be issued during w/c 16th May, 2016. Please fill your bag with unwanted clothes and help raise money for school funds. Please return your filled bag to school no later than the end of the day on Friday 10th June, 2016.
• CBBC Junior Bake Off
  Junior Bake Off is looking for the junior bakers aged between 9-12 years. If your child would like to put their baking skills to the test parents/carers please visit www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/joinin/junior-bake-off-4-be-on-a-show for an application form.
