Learn to Love, Love to Learn
On behalf of our school community I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Mereside Church of England Primary Academy.
We really value the partnership between home and school and see your child's learning journey through their time with us as a joint venture between you and all members of staff here at our school.
This website is aimed at helping with that partnership providing information about all aspects of the school.
At our school we believe that all children can achieve well through effort. They are our future and therefore, together, we must provide a strong foundation on which they can build. To meet this, we offer a broad, balanced and creative curriculum that allows and encourages each child to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding they need to become lifelong learners.
The Christian ethos of our school underpins and permeates all that we do with a clear spiritual and moral dimension. Whilst the Christian faith is the starting point and our central focus, the beliefs and practices of other faiths are respected. It is hoped that parents and children of all faiths and none will find our school a welcoming place.
With my very best wishes,
Laura Hopley
