• Friends of Mereside PTA Spring Term Discos - Friday 8th March 2024
  Spring Term Discos will be on Friday 8th March: EYFS & Year 1 ~ 3:30 - 4:15pm Years 2 & 3 ~ 4:30 - 5:15pm Years 4, 5 & 6 ~ 5:30 - 6:15pm. Please click on the link below for all the information you need and to book tickets!!
• Poppy Appeal 2023 - Thank you for the Total Raised
  A big 'thank you' to everyone who supported the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal, raising money for the Armed Forces community, past and present. We raised a fantastic total of £285.56.
• Applications to Reception class 2024
  The deadline for applications to Reception class in 2024 closes on 15/01/24. If you want your child to be allocated a school place, please apply online via the Shropshire Council’s portal-Synergy-Homepage (shropshire.gov.uk).
• BBC Children in Need 2023 - Total Raised
  A big 'thank you' to everyone who donated and took part in our non-uniform day on Friday 17th November 2023, raising money for Children in Need. ParentPay have confirmed we raised a fantastic total of £361.50 & also £48.63 in Gift Aid.
• Junior Park Run - Mereside Takeover! Sunday 19th November 2023 *NEW DATE*
  Mereside CE Primary Academy will be taking over Shrewsbury’s popular junior park run at the Quarry Park. Staff from Mereside will be there to help marshal the event, as well as to cheer all children along the 2km course.
• BBC Children in Need 2023 'Non-uniform' Day
  On Friday 17th November 2023, we are having a non-uniform day for Children in Need. For a minimum donation of £1.00 per child, your child/children can come to school dressed in their own clothes.
• Friends of Mereside School Christmas Jumper Sale!
  The Friends of Mereside School Christmas Jumper Sale is taking place after school on Wednesday 22nd November 2023 Donations welcome - good quality christmas clothing. Please leave donations in the collection box in the school reception.
• Friends of Mereside Annual General Meeting (AGM) - Tuesday 17th October 2023
  Our Annual General Meeting provides an excellent opportunity for all parents/carers to come along and hear in more detail about our work, the events we have run, the funds we have raised and how the money has been spent.
• Mereside 'PJ' Day! - Friday 29th September 2023
  Children are welcome to come to school wearing Pyjamas (and trainers) on this day for a minimum donation of £1 which will go towards the Ronald McDonald House Charities. .
• Mereside Non Uniform Day - Friday 26th May, 2023
  Instead of the usual £1.00 donation, we are asking for donations of specific items to assist with the Summer Fair...
