• The Pearl of Africa Children's Choir Concert
  On Thursday 20th October, 2016 the choir will be performing an evening concert at 6.00pm. Tickets cost £4.00 Adults & £1.00 children. Please send your money in a sealed envelope to the school office; tickets will then be sent home with your child.
• PTA Fashion Show
  Fashion Show at Mereside School, Friday 14th October, 2016. Ladies & children's winter clothing. Tickets cost £5.00 each & are available from the PTA every Friday at the ice cream sales or by completing the slip on the leaflet sent home.
• European Day of Languages
  Mereside School is celebrating the 'European Day of Languages 2016' on Monday 26th September. It will start a week of singing, speaking and listening to different languages. Please visit the website to read what this day is all about www.coe.int/EDL
• Year 6 Shropshire Council Letter
  The Shropshire Council letter about transition to secondary school, sent home with Year 6 pupils on Monday 12th September, states the catchment area school is Shrewsbury Academy. This information is incorrect; a new letter will be issued in due course.

• 'Wanted' - Mereside School Jade Jumpers!
  Recycle your jade coloured school jumpers or cardigans by handing them into the school office. The PTA would like to do a project using them.
• PTA Summer Fair
  Thank you to everyone who attended & supported the Summer Fair on Saturday 2nd July, 2016; a fantastic £1636.00 has been raised for school funds!
