Under 9 County Plate Final at The Meadow Stadium
On Monday 29th April, our years 3 & 4 children went to the Greenhous Meadow because the under 9 boys football team were playing in the county final. We played against Oakmeadow School.
We could hear lots of cheering and shouting, it was very exciting. We were a bit worried when the first goal was scored against us. Will Griffiths scored a very good long shot to make it 1-1. This means that we are joint champions.
We are very proud of our boys.
They each got a medal! Oakmeadow are keeping the cup for the first six months and then we will have it afterwards.
