News Stories- Schools Unusual Floral Container Competion
The school has looked lovely over the last few weeks as your entries have flourished. People entering the school have commented on how beautiful they all looked.
Mereside has been awarded "Highly Commended" by Shrewsbury Town Council. - "Get Caught Reading" competition winners

KS2: Connie Davies - 'Come Casual' & Year 5 Cake Sale - Friday 18th July, 2014
The pupils can come to school in their own clothes for a donation of 50p each. Please can our Year 5 pupils (Kestrels Class) bring in cakes to sell at morning break. Cakes will cost 20p each. - Parent Council Suggestion Box
There is now a suggestion box in the school reception for anything that you would like raised at our Parent Council meetings. - School Vision
After gaining our fantastic "Good" school rating the School Governors would like to hear your views on where we see our school in the future. - Chocolate Tombola
A chocolate Tombola will be held on Wednesday 16th July in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. - EYFS sports morning
Thanks to all who came to watch and support the EYFS sports morning. Also a special "Thank You" to Zara Bowden for the Zumba warm up which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. - Shropshire Sings
Well done to all our KS1 and KS2 children who took part in Shropshire Sings this week. - Music Lessons
Keyboard has now finished for the term. All other lessons are taking place this week.
Guitar lesson for this week only will take place in the day at 1.15pm - Strike Action
Mereside is not affected by the proposed strike action on Thursday 10th July. School will be open as usual.
